Sales people are reel

I am fortunate in that I get to see everyone’s tape who comes through the office. I have found again and again that people who are in Sales directly have an amazing resilience to them. They generally bounce back from almost everything. They handle rejection like Olympic Athletes and they go for the gold every time they give you a pitch. How amazing is that? I know that for most people, rejection in any form takes them out of the game for a while. Sales people understand that a rejection today is not a rejection against them, its just not right for their company today. It may be right tomorrow so they don’t stop with a no thank you. They come again and again. Each time we have a sales person through, I see that same tenacity in their eyes. That same resolve to watch and learn and really hear what the prospect is saying. Salespeople actually are a great part of the engine which runs our country.
