It is no longer a question as to whether or not you should have a video on your website. Its an absolute must. If you havent yet, then you are missing out. In what I call the instant coffee generation, time is of the essence and therefore people want all the information quickly. There is no quicker form than through video. You can give them the sight, the sound and the feeling of whether or not your company is the one they want to deal with. They get all the information on a product in just a minute or 2. No longer sifting through a lot words on a page. Its all about being in their face. The next step once you have decided that you are going to go ahead with a video is to decipher what your company is looking to say. What is important. Remember, Keep it Simple Stupid or Kiss em as we like to say. Simplicity always works. No brain teasers. No questionable language, unless of course you are a rapper whose audience demands it. It is simple. What is the main staple of your company? That is the message you have to get out there. Then get a spokes person. You can use anyone who is articulate and is able to get out what you are trying to say. Get them talking, add some live footage or photos for backup, some great music which reflects the mood of what you are saying, edit it together flawlessly and bang, put it out there. Put it everywhere. On all the media sites. Then make sure to follow up with all the people who are calling in or emailing. Simple right?
