Union video

I had the priviledge of spending the weekend taping a candidate for a Union election who recognized that the union workers would rather see him and recognize him that way rather than just read a platform in the union newsletter or some hand out. HIs video will be finished this week and he hopes that it will go viral within his union community. IT was great to see how someone who was so intent on getting his message out he was anxious about being in front of the camera, worried that he would take too long getting over the nervous stammer and then worried that he would forget the important issues in his speach. After a short while I got him to realize that he should speak to the camera the way he would speak to anyone he meets face to face. Stop trying to sell something. Start being real and reaching people through your heart felt passion about what you are doing and saying. If people would be more open to that rather than selling they would find themselves far better off in all aspects of their business no matter what business they are in. In any case I am excited that I was able to hear the platform and be instrumental in helping him reaching his audience in an authentic way. The video will be up early next week, both on utube and here at Visually Reel.
